About Us

The VA Lady Lightning teams are based in Northern Virginia and made up of well-rounded young athletes who have a strong desire to play and compete at the collegiate level.  Our organization supports multi-sport athletes as well as athletes with other interests.

• Coaches and instructors with well over 60 years of combined coaching experience
• Year-round access to indoor training facility—rain, snow, or shine
• Hitting, slapping, and pitching lessons offered through private instructors and Pure Performance softball training facility (Fairfax, VA)
• Teams operate under the umbrella of the nationally ranked Lady Lightning Gold program
  • Back-to-back top-10 finishes at PGF Nationals in 2013 and 2014; top-20 finish in 2015
• Well-established recruiting relationships with college coaches around the country, including Alabama, North Carolina, NC State, Mississippi State, and Virginia Tech
• Team-building mini camp in January/February
• Next Level Fastpitch college recruiting camps
• High-level end-of-season national tournaments
• Major events along the East Coast and Southeast
• Pristine practice fields located in Northern Virginia
• Continued development for both recruiting and college prep
• Organized and structured practice plans for team and player needs
